Well, hello there! And happy February! ♡ February has recently become my favourite month for a large number of reasons, but this year in particular I am looking forward to all the exciting opportunities and celebrations heading my way! I won't give away too many details just yet, but I will say that either outcome, this will be a wonderful semester! February is also an excellent excuse to wear lots of pink and red in preparation for Valentine's Day!
Here in Northern California we have been experiencing a period of drought, but only recently it has been pouring nonstop! I love the rain, but having all morning classes left me with the mindset of just bundling up and staying comfortable until the cold subsides. This was entirely out of character so it wasn't until today when I threw on this sailor style dress and T-bar shoes that I felt like myself again. This dress was originally floor-length with cuffed longed sleeves, so once it was in my possession, I knew I wanted to alter it (especially after seeing a similar type dress on style icon Elle Fanning). I did exactly that over the summer and am very happy with the result. This is actually my first time wearing it out, and I was quite thrilled to see how perfectly my Topshop shoes matched!
I recorded a video last week that I've been meaning to make for quite literally the entire year, but wasn't as happy with it as I thought I would be. Perhaps with some proper editing, I will find it good enough to post. In the meantime, I do encourage you to make suggestions for future videos as well to motivate me! I think the on-camera experience will do me some good!
Stay sweet ♡
